The earthquake destroyed portions of the already abandoned cities (since the Great Panic of May 2013) of Cebu City and Tagbilaran City as well as multiple Catholic churches dating back to the Spanish colonial era. The earthquake also killed an estimate of 100-300 zombies that were crushed from the rubble. Some zombies would be retrieved; some already die dof decay and some completely immobile. However, because majority of the Filipino government, the AFP and the general population were focused on fighting zombies and securing safezones, the ruined churches were all but forgotten. Even after the Zombie War, restoration of these churches are expected to take another decade due to priority in rebuilding cities and repatriation of displaced civilians.

Using protocols devolped for a nuclear war, as the Great Panic set in prepared plans went into effect and Britian's greatest historical treasures where removed from museum's and vaults and taken to secure mines across the country. Given the value of the items the security was tight and nothing was stolen. It was only after the Z War that some of the locations, such as this one in Northamptonshire became known.

Even in the UK there where survivor communities that resisted reintegration back into the population, such as this one in Lincolnshire.
Most were forcibly repatriated by the government if no peaceful method could be found.

Proposed anti-zombie vehicle known as the Slug Gunner which is inspired from SNK's Metal Slug franchise. The machine is to be piloted by a single person while encased inside the armor, completely impervious zombie bites, scratches, and fluids. Armaments include an M134 7.62 x 51 mm Minigun on its left arm, a 180 mm cannon, and a pile bunker for CQC combat. Estimates it will be available by the 2030s will be operated by the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Taiwan, the Philippines, South Korea, Japan, and Australia.

As the War against Zed cotinued, meuseums were raiding for any ideas that could help. Here a man models armour based off designs wore during WW1. Cheaper than kevlar, the plates and the heavy, thick jacket helped ward off bites.
