I thought the German forces didn't land in America, until late 1945, early 1946? After they dropped the bomb that destroyed Washington.

IWell about The Man in High Castle Wikia: "
By 1945, the Axis Powers were strong enough to launch a successful invasion of the U.S. from both the Pacific and Atlantic coasts.

The Nazis' then detonated the first atomic bomb (dubbed the Heisenberg Device) on Washington D.C., forcing the United States to surrender by late 1945. Despite this, the Axis Powers were forced to fight a hard and tenacious American Resistance for almost two years until September 18th, 1947, when the Nazi Reich declared that the resistance has finally been put down. This day was marked as Victory in America Day (or VA Day) which officially ended the conflict with an Axis victory."

The nuke that destroyed Washington was dropped on December 11, 1945. I think the invasion followed months later. It was around February 1946 when the officer tells Smith and his Army companions that the war was over, the Germans were sending aid to the occupied Americans, all military personnel have to wear the armband, and that Patton shook hands with Goering at West Point.

Only Ike continued fighting the Germans and the Japanese for an unknown amount of time.

Major General Dwight Eisenhower of the U.S. Army, notable for leading the American Rebel Army (composed of U.S. Armed Forces units that refused to capitulate to Axis powers) from 1945 to his death in a Nazi airstrike on September 18th, 1947. Following his death, Führer Adolf Hitler and Emperor Hirohito declared Victory In America Day where the United States was soon divided between the Reich and the Japanese Empire on the East and West Coasts respectively, save for a neutral zone in the Rockies. The American Rebel Army soon fractured and splintered into several groups where they were simply a loose canon known as the American Resistance.

Mexican Federales on Texas-Mexico border, 1963. They are given strict orders to shoot any refugee that crosses the border as Mexico only accepted 100,000 American refugees from 1945-47. However, many sympathetic Federales and the Mexican citizens secretly smuggle refugees, usually Jews, Gypsies, Slavs, and the ill, into several safe havens, churches, and shelters throughout Mexico.

Soldiers of the "Korean People's Army" celebrating the liberation of Korea from Japanese rule on November 1964. The Korean rebellion occurred simultaneously with other uprisings Australia, China, and India and the pullout of the Japanese Empire from the Pacific States.

Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
Considered to be one the greatest architects of Japanese victory over the United States and Great Britain, Admiral Yamamoto was respected by his allies and enemies alike. He was appointed the Governor-General of the Pacific States. During his time, he ordered the Japanese occupational forces to treat the defeated population of the West Coast kindly with a hearts-and-minds campaign so as to bring the Americans to their side. He also designed the flag of the Japanese Pacific States. Unfortunately with his passing in 1960, the hardline approach of the Imperial Japanese Army took control and resumed a harsh stance against the local population.
