GNR troops armed with the new HK MP5A3 are seen here taking defensive positions as groups of Hitler Youth riot around the streets of New York City during the beginning of Jahr Null. The riots were tolerated by Führer Heinrich Himmler (who was in the streets himself) as long as the youth did not attack authorities. This was taken right before the Führer is injured by an unseen sniper in a failed assassination attempt.
Mexican Army forces move in to quell protests from anti-Axis protests after the restored Partido Fascista Mexicano or Mexican Fascist Party won 130 out of 162 seats in the 1958 election. The PFM has long been a troubling element in Mexican politics due to it’s desire to bring the neutral country into the GNR’s sphere of influence. A move deeply opposed by liberals and more moderate conservatives, many of whom covertly support the US Resistance.

Mexico, Colombia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Central Russia are the only ones that are still independent.

US troops preparing to assault an SS armored column near Carbondale, Pennsylvania. The SS forces emerged from "The Breach," the informal name for the interdimensional portal many believe leads to a world where the Axis Powers won WWII. The war between the two countries ultimately ended in a ceasefire between the United States and the Greater German Reich a little over a month after this photo was taken, as neither side could effectively invade the other through the portal's bottleneck. While the US forces flattened the Nazi incursion, the Nazis flattened the US retaliatory expedition into their universe near Scranton. (picture captured May 12th, 1963)
