Emblem of the International Atomic Energy Agency. While founded in the 1950s with the introduction of fission power, the IAEA came into the international spotlight following the Belkan War as the international oversight service for the decommissioning and scrapping of most of the world's nuclear arsenal. As was their motto, "Atoms for Peace" they converted most nuclear pits into usable reactor fuel and have been coming up with further peaceful usages of atomic energy. One recent proposal involving cooperation with the Osean Space Agency and the OADF Space Command has been to use controlled nuclear explosions as a means of propelling space craft for interplanetary or even interstellar voyages.
