Former Vice President and California senator Mike Gravel in 2012 endorsing President Paul Wellstone against Governor Kelsey Grammar on KNN. This was one part of a one hour interview with KNN covering Wellstone’s first term, the electoral college, and rumors he’ll retire.
Rick Nolan campaigning for Governor of Minnesota in 2010 in the Iron Range town of Svend* in what would be a failed bid, losing to Alex Kozinski 49%-47%. At first Rick Nolan was expected to win however the polls tightened until Election Day, with the final polls showing an average of Nolan 48-Kozinski 47 with a 2-3 point margin of error. Despite his vigorous campaign Nolan would be defeated in the Republican landslide of 2010.

Avery Brooks' middle name is Franklin, so, yeah, it's still OTL Brooks, he just goes by his middle name ITTL.

Franklin Brooks as Star Trek: Deep Space Seven's Commander Worf, commanding officer of the eponymous space station. On the air from 1995 to 2002, DS7 is the longest running of the Star Trek series to date and served as the launchpad of numerous actors and writers.
(Don't think too hard about how much Franklin Brooks looks like Michael Dorn. I'm not sure if Franklin Brooks was supposed to be an alternate version of Avery Brooks or completely fictional person)
