Photos from Featherston's Confederacy/ TL-191

Out of Curiosity, Where would a Doctor Lexington be set? (Doctor Lexington is TL 191 Man in the High Castle)

Anyways..PHOTOGRAPHS!

800px-Yang_Kyoungjong.jpg

Picture of Korean Soldier Yang Kyoungjong. Yang was conscripted into the Imperial Japanese Army in the early 1930s, where he was forced to fight in the Pacific against the US, where he would be captured and held for a decade. During his time in the USA, The Confederacy launched Operation Blackbeard, resulting in Yang being Conscripted into fighting for the United States. He would be captured by the Confederate Military (as depicted in the photo above) and once again be conscripted into a special Regiment, where he would fight against the United States in Tennessee, before finally being captured again and taken to philadelphia. He would spend the rest of his life in Germany however, where he would pass on.
Found it. Not that your idea is bad or anything, just couldn't help but recognize the photograph.

These two pictures are of the famous Cincinnati Library in Ohio. The photo above was taken in 1874 and the bottom was taken in 1942 after Confederate bombing destroyed the building during Operation Blackbeard.

One thing I am Curious about is what Japanese Military Tech be like after the Second Great War? Mainly in the 4th Pacific War and beyond. Like what would Imperial Japanese Aircraft resemble in TL 191 After the End's 4th Pacific War?

Hello, everyone.

This is my first post on the AHForum and I've decided that it should be about "real" photographs from TL-191.

After reading the books, I have imagined Jacob Featherston to look eerily similar to Eric Stoltz.

Granted, Featherston has brown hair, but it's close enough.

Just my opinion.

Looks Great! Although I'd imagine he'd have a few more wrinkles, because I assume he was in his 50s during the Second Great War.

Also, Welcome! Its always nice to see someone new here!

The actor, in real-life, would be in his late-fifties.

Thank you for the welcome! :)
Ah perfect! Although I'd still imagine that he would have a more "Aged" appearance, due to being a combat veteran and Military Leader (in a way). But aside from that, the appearance works very well!

Do you know any good actors who could represent Gordon Mcsweeney?

Personally, I'd back Mr Michael Shannon against all comers - he can do "Wrath of God" and make it infinitely watchable!

An excellent choice - he has the right "nondescript, only-vaguely-threatening" look one associates with The Snake (who could play "snake in the grass" almost as well as he could spit venom); give him a "military crop" haircut and he'd be an excellent Casting Call!:)

I was actually browsing through lists of Jewish-American politicians & activists (idly looking for a suitable "life model" for Flora Hamburger Blackford who wasn't Rosa Luxemburg) and was lucky enough to stumble onto the lady at the other end of this link - is strikes me that both her physical appearance and political convictions tally very closely with those attributed to Flora Blackford (in Timeline-191 Ms. Malkiel and the young Flora Hamburger might well have been neighbours; they would almost certainly move in the same circles).

^^Here's the photograph which made me add Ms. Malkiel to my List of "Life Models" for Flora Hamburger Blackford; she certain has the "Dark hair, dark eyes, zero nonsense" look that I associate with that Lady.^^

This photo was taken during on a ship during the Evacuation of Savannah, Georgia in 1944. Many of these soldiers would later be sent to fight in Virginia and the Carolinas until the finals days of the War.

Nice comparison.

Personally, I imagined Flora to look similar to a black-haired Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Senator Robert La Follette sits down with fellow Socialist Samuel Gompers in 1924. La Follette was an active and well known member of the Socialist Party since the Party became mainstream in the 1890's. La Follette tried to gain the nomination in 1920, but lost it to Upton Sinclair. He had plans to run in 1928, but he passed way in 1925. His son, Charles, on the other hand, would play very important role in 1942.
