:D Why would it be wrong? He was a southern boy, after all. And sure, he didn't have much formal education, but he was a lot smarter than people gave him credit for. ;) If he was able to make it in Hollywood, I reckon he could have made it in politics if he wanted.

Nice pic!
The Kongo had better guns, but the misfortune to have British builders--and British armor.
Even so, the distance to the theatre of opperations proved difficult for the Grand Alliance (USA, Germany, Great Britain, and Ireland) in the war against the USSR, Japan, and China.
The ongoing distrust between members on both sides led to extra difficulties pressing the war to a conclusion, IIRC.

Spot on. In Jersey. There are some interesting pictures out there of helmeted bobbies posing alongside Wehrmacht soldiers (or the other way around), which make good ATL material.
