Just some stuff from a Shared Worlds thread. TTL saw an Orthodox-wank, Catholicism having been butterflied away
the Ecumenical Patriarch and the Pentarchy.
About these guys (also from the same TL as above)

Formed out the remnants of the defunct Imperial Japanese Army in Korea (and ironically a lot of native Koreans) including the defunct Kwangtung Army, the Free Japan Army or Muryō nippongun is a rebel army that is as deadly to the German Heer and colonial troops as it is elusive. The FJA has launched numerous attacks on military outposts, supply depots, etc. throughout Manchuria and Korea - it also has various underground cells in the Home Islands.

Shirō Ishii: The Plague Doctor

Shiro-ishii.jpg

Dr. Shirō Ishii in 1939.
An ethnic Japanese who served in the Kaiser’s Ostasien Kolonialarmee (East Asia Colonial Army) and fought against both the New Yihetuan Movement and the Free Japan Army in Korea, Manchuria, and northern China from 1921 to 1928, Ishii had a disturbing obsession with chemical and biological warfare. He would travel to Berlin in 1928 and eventually meet with “the father of chemical warfare”, Fritz Haber himself. Ishii would become his protégée, learning all he could from the German before Haber’s death from a stroke in 1936.

Ishii would then become the power behind the new head of the German Ministry for Special Warfare’s biochemical weapons division, a German scientist named Dr. Ludvig Maxis, shortly after Haber’s death. Since then Ishii has been creating new and deadly chemical and biological agents through extremely unorthodox methods.

Death Comes in Small Quantities

Department 17 members in protective suits inspecting barrels containing the newest chemical weapon produced by the department, VX Gas.
VX is an extremely toxic synthetic chemical compound in the organophosphorus class, specifically, a thiophosphonate. In the class of nerve agents, it is developed by Department 17 for military use in chemical warfare after translation of earlier discoveries of organophosphate toxicity in pesticide research.

In its pure form, VX is a colorless, relatively non-volatile liquid, taking on a yellowish to brown color when impure. Because of its low volatility, VX persists in environments where it is dispersed. VX fatalities occur with exposure to quantities as little as a tenth of a milligram via inhalation or absorption through the skin; VX is thus more potent than sarin, another nerve agent with a similar mechanism of action.

On such exposure, these agents severely disrupt the body's signaling between the nervous and muscular systems, leading to a prolonged neuromuscular blockade, flaccid paralysis of all the muscles in the body including the diaphragm, and death by asphyxiation.

I request-
  1. Kim Jong un as a modern pop singer.Do take reference from his old,pre-plastic surgery photos.
  2. Kim Il Sung as Governor of Oregon
  3. Kim Jong Il as a Hollywood martial artist like Bruce Lee.Remember, this was when he was young.
  4. Kim Jong Nam as a comedian on stage
  5. Kim Han Sol (Kim Jong Nam's son) as a youtuber
This is all for my Althistory timeline,American Kims,in which Kim Il Sung moves to Oregon as a young man in 1929,converts to Christianity and becomes a preacher. As he becomes a prominent figure in the Asian community,he is nominated by the Democrats as governor in 1951.The Kim family becomes a prominent family in the both politics and lifestyle,as well as a success story of immigrants building the American dream.

The Sun Rises over California: Japan’s Invasion
The Japanese invasion of the American West Coast, starting with the invasion and capture of San Francisco and Los Angeles followed by conquering the rest California and the coast, would go down in history as one of the Empire’s greatest achievements. Therefore, Emperor Hirohito gave strict orders to the Imperial Army and Imperial Navy to cooperate and coordinate with each other beyond the best of their abilities and to set aside their rivalry for at least the duration of the invasion.

American refugees in California flee the advancing Japanese Army across a damaged bridge.
Up until the Japanese invasion of the American mainland, the American public had only heard about Japanese atrocities and brutality on the radio, read about it in newspapers, or seen it on newsreels but now they were experiencing it first hand.

Quotes from Refugees of Japanese Barbarism:

“I saw a Jap officer behead an member of the LAPD who had surrendered, I mean he surrendered and got beheaded for it! What does that say about how they’ll treat us civilians?!”

– Anonymous refugee.

“Back when I was a twelve, my little brother took a piece of candy from a Japanese soldier and got very sick....afterwards he died.”

– 20 year old American woman living in the Japanese oversea territory of Yuta-shū (Utah) remembering the death of her little brother in 1946.

A Diary Entry from a Japanese Lieutenant, Kurosu Tadanobu, during the Imperial Army’s capture of Los Angeles:
“We took about 5,000 prisoners of war, some of those we captured a couple of days ago, to the bank of the what the American gaijin call the 'Rio Hondo River' and mowed them down by machine guns. Then we stabbed them with bayonets to our satisfaction. I probably bayoneted 30-odd hateful American soldiers.”

The End of the War and America’s Humiliation

Although the Japanese had taken the West Coast, the United States remained stubborn and vowed to not surrender to Japan. But that all changed when a new Japanese ultra-long-range heavy bomber (the Nakajima G10N) dropped a new devasting bomb on New York City...that bomb was the atomic bomb. The bomb was in fact being worked on by the Americans themselves, but the work was immediately halted as Japanese forces got dangerously close to the research and testing sites out west - the orders to dismantle the atomic bomb project were given and carried out.

U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt signs the Japan-America Peace Treaty aka the Treaty of San Francisco on 4 August 1946 after the nuking of New York City, ending the Japan-America War aka the Pacific War.
The treaty was harsh; it forced the United States to become nothing more than a vassal to the victorious Empire of Japan while also signing away all U.S. territory west of the Rock Mountains to Tokyo which became the Imperial East Pacific Territories (later reorganised into the Japanese protectorate of the Kingdom of Hawaii and the Pacific States of America or PSA, a glorified puppet state taking direct orders from Tokyo).

To add further insult to injury, America was forbidden to have submarines, it’s air force (the US Army Air Corps) was to be greatly reduced in size & overall effectiveness, and it was to significantly reduce its naval capabilities and the size of its army. The country’s manufacturing capabilities were to be monitored by agents of the Kempeitai and the Japanese conglomerates or Zaibatsu were allowed free reign in the U.S. The Kempeitai were also allowed to report any and all suspicious activities inside American manufacturers to Tokyo without notifying the American government.

The 1956 Portland Uprising

American student protesters in Portland, Oregon, Pacific States of America.
They are protesting the PSA government’s (really the Japanese Government’s) continued nipponisation of Oregon, the continued arrival of Japanese settlers, and the replacement of the written English language with kanji in the state’s colleges (it is to be noted that nipponisation has already gone into full swing in other PSA states).

Imperial Japanese Riot Control personnel engaging protesters after one riot control member was killed by a brick thrown by a protester. Several people would get injured or be killed in the clashes which would caused more chaos as the protest blew up into a citywide riot.
With the city in chaos, the Imperial Army and Kempeitai would be called in to crush the citywide riot (now deemed as an official uprising by the authorities). The Kempeitai would bring with them a group of the newly created Oni Samurai, a 3.7 meter (12 foot) bioengineered terror, to help in suppressing the dissent. The Japanese would call the event in Portland the “1956 Portland Uprising” while the Portlanders would call it the “Day of Blood”.

A bioengineered Oni Samurai courtesy Unit 753* - this one is one of the giant ones standing fully at 3.7 meters (12 feet), though most are half that size. They are fast, strong, agile, very hard to kill, and armed with a deadly nanosteel katana and a nanosteel wakizashi.

—————————————————————
* = Unit 753 is the successor to Units 731 and 516 - it absorbed both of them in 1947 and deals not only in biochemical warfare but also the bioengineering of yokai or monsters/spirits/demons (mainly through human experimentation).

These pics are part of the 'Anime World' TL that FesteringSpore mostly did.

The Soviet Union, though initially devoid of anime characters, eventually had to deal with an influx of them, mostly in the West and Far East, escaping Germany and Japan. Being a dictatorship and not really trusting these "drawings", they set up autonomous communities throughout the anime-populated areas. This character is living in Gorod chertezhey 14, which translates to "drawing city 14". This city is located about 100 miles from Minsk.

ra-15.png

The American anime characters, mostly in the fifties, demanded civil rights and sparked massive protests across the nation, which thus led to the Civil Rights for Animated Beings Act of 1967, a landmark act which prohibited discrimination of anime characters and gave the anime characters all the rights of the Constitution, prohibiting states to deny the characters their rights. This anime girl is attending a local college in Maine.

This girl is living in in Japan. This is a rare sight, as most anime characters either fled Japan or were executed, and only 2% of the original population remain.

One of the highly controversial images of then president Joe Biden unexpectedly grabbing and getting too close to several anime girls at a local bar. These pictures, as well as the testimony of the victims, ultimately led to Biden's downfall and impeachment.

Dr. Kimura Daizō, a scientist working at Unit 753.
Graduating from the Tokyo University of Science in 1950 at the top of his class, Daizō is a brilliant mind in the fields of vivisection, gene splicing, and selective breeding. He has a disturbing fascination with breeding the humanoid yokais of Unit 753 with human “volunteers” (both male and female alike).

Human-Oni hybrid.

Another human-oni hybrid. This one is call “Little Deceiver”, a bio-engineered ninja able to retract its horns - it’s one of more deadlier specimens created through Kimura’s breeding program.
It’s common form is that of a cute barefooted girl in high-thigh stockings and a short kimono, though it can transform into a more grotesque and monsterous form if it so wishes. It is extremely fast, agile, strong, and incredibly dangerous with fangs and claws that make the sharpest of katana look dull by comparison. It is a relentless hunter often calling its prey “Onii-chan” in sweet cute yet creepy manner, it eats human flesh.

The Unitary State of Vietnam
With the Kaiserreich’s global empire having collapsed, German Indochina fell apart in the early 1950s; the nations of Siam, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam were finally set free. In Vietnam, Emperor Nguyễn Phúc Vĩnh Thụy (better known as Bảo Đai) was besieged from two sides; the vitalist Vietnamese Fatherland Party (VFP) and its fanatical Việt Cộng paramilitary in the south led by paramount independence leader, Ngô Đình Diệm. In the north, Bảo Đai faced the anarcho-syndicalist Workers’ Party of Vietnam (WPV) and its armed wing known as the Việt Minh led by the other paramount independence leader, Hồ Chí Minh.

Bảo was more worried about the anarcho-syndicalists than he was about the vitalists which would cost him dearly as Diệm, from his base in Sài gòn, led a march on Huế on 5 October 1953 - it would be later called the March on Huế. Diệm’s Việt Cộng outnumbered and outgunned the Imperial Guard and capital garrison, due to smuggled American arms, and captured the Imperial family. The vitalists then summarily executed them with Diệm killing Bảo personally via a shot to the head.

Diệm then quickly moved to absorb the panicking Imperial Vietnamese Army, which was largely used for policing purposes and dealing with bandits during the German colonial era, and used it and his Việt Cộng to crush the WPV and their Việt Minh - Hồ himself fleeing to Australia. After gaining control of the whole country and stamping out any remaining resistance, Diệm proclaimed the Unitary State of Vietnam, moved the capital to Sài gòn, and declared himself Lãnh đạo or Leader of the nation.

In the following of years, Diệm would continue to solidify his power further as well as strengthening his country and building up an extensive cult of personality. Diệm also used the ongoing Chinese Civil War between the two former allies that made up the now-defunct New Yihetuan Movement; the Kuomintang Party (ruling the northern China) and the Chinese Communist (ruling Southern China) to make some border adjustments.

There were several border clashes/raids with the South Chinese Communists - some started by the People’s Liberation Army and some by the Vietnamese State Army (with the Việt Cộng often accompanying them).

In 1963, Hồ Chí Minh (19 May 1890-Present) - leader of the exiled-provisional government of the Worker’s Commune of Vietnam - types his manifesto.
The book is titled, “Lost Paradise of the Workers and Peasants: The Vietnam that Could’ve Been” and outlines what Hồ dreamt for Vietnam and how Ngô Đình Diệm and his Vietnamese Fatherland Party utterly crushed that dream. It is a book of regrets, frustration, anger, and defeat.
