Ok, I cheated since this is actually a OTL newspaper front page.

Does anyone know something about that tank?

And, the assumingly-long-awaited final part of the "April 27, 6288 rally" series:
Dictator-Führer Maximilian delivering the midnight speech, publicly declaring the Zaaroft War (it's a bit less photographic, but best I could do).
maxdeclaringwarsd9.jpg

Arranged before him are not only masses of torch-bearing, flag-waving Stormguardsmen and Wehrmacht soldiers, but also a great deal of civilians, assembled on the field to hear their great leader speak to the masses.
The Declaratory Rally, as it was later called, was the largest rally up to that point, and remained so until the end of the war, eclipsed by the Victory Rally, which featured the exhibition of war technologies developed and fielded during the war..

Wow.

That is amazing.

M6_Main_Battle_Tank_by_Trombinator.png

2030s era M6 Main Battle Tank. It broke the tradition of smaller and lighter vehicles after the devastating ground campaigns in Asia. The M6 was designed to resist highly advanced ATGMs. Note the extra smoke/SLID launchers on the sides, and the automated miniturret for engaging longer-ranged missiles.

And yes, another tank!
MkXXV__Landship__by_Trombinator.png

The 2433 built Ogre MkXXV, developed by Columbian Republic forces in their war against the Peloponnesian Confederation at their borders on New Ares. The MkXXV weighs 30,000 tons (Earth Standard Gravity), though it has never been deployed there. Although the MkXXV is primitive by the standards of the Combined Nations, one must remember that the colonial wars which devastated New Ares required the virtual rebuilding of society there. Despite isolation orders, the rate at which New Ares nations advance their military technology astounds CN experts.

Those are amazing pictures Blochead

Thanks!

I work at a place that teaches kids how to use Photoshop and Flash and all that good stuff, so when they have free time I'm lucky enough to have access to those programs and a tablet. Expect more soon.

Oh, and impressive MSPaint skills as always Hapsburg. You can still probably draw faces with a mouse better than I can by hand.

I'd hate to meet those things coming down a dark alley. :D

Soviet palace, eh? Wouldn't the term "palace" kinda run counter to the Soviet antimonarchist ideology?
Wait, I'm having one of those things- a headache with pictures....an idea! Historically, leaders of revolutions have occasionally given themselves the title "Emperor" or at least been offered the title, right? What if the Supreme Soviet literally conferred upon Lenin the title Emperor of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics? Remember, republic is, like commonwealth, such an ambiguous term. Republics, or a union thereof, can easily also be technically monarchies, especially if it's an elective monarchy.

Well, the Soviets did use the word "Dvorets" ("Palace") quite a bit, although they would generally use it as "Palace of Sports", "Palace of Culture", or, in some instances, "Palace of Soviet".

Hapsburg, you gotten really good with the paint of your future-german yype scenario. Why don't you make a TL out of it, it sounds quite interesting.

A cookie to whoever knows where I got this from.:)
