Since I can't edit my prior post...
Another black-and-white photo during the military parade and mass rally in April, 6288. (Yes, it's just a cheaply and hastily edited snapshot from Triumph of the Will.

)
This picture shows the arranged masses of Wehrmacht infantry and Stormguard footmen as they stand at attention before. A triple set of the CGU national flag, affectionately termed the
Erdefahne, or "Earth-flag", sits in the background. Although, the official speech on the public declaration of War does not occur until later that night. The vast parade and marches last all through the day and on into the evening, until the midnight speech by Maximilian.
The saluting figures in the foreground are five leading figure in the CGU government:
Dictator-Führer and Reichskanzler Maximilian von Compton, First Lord of the Reichstag, President of the Senate, the founder and first absolute sovereign of the CGU;

Reichsmarschall Rudolph Lanning, Reichsminister of War, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Supreme Commander of the Wehrmacht, who is the seniormost military commander in the Union; and
