Woah yeah, those pictures are cool.
I've tried to do something similar before but my skills are nowhere near that good.

You may have already spotted it as it';s in this forum, but the first post of my new TL is up; It's called "1910, a Space Odyssey", and can be found here. Enjoy!

EdT, your serial inspired me to make this photo. It's of Captain Sir Richard Francis Burton looking out at Mars from an "æthership." It's not nearly as good as yours. I don't really have great Photoshop skills like some of you do. I realize that the picture doesn't make much sense (e.g. who is taking the picture if there's no reflection of a camera?) but this picture was really just put together kind of quickly.

A painting of Dictator Maximilian, pausing for a moment to think within the hallowed walls of the Dictatorial Palace, c.6280.

Behind him, you can see out the window, the towering skyline of Munich, the capital city of the Central Galactic Union. The major features of the skyline include the Reichstag building, and the tmassive (though unfinished) statue of Dictator Maximilian, currently being constructed; When completed, the statue will stand about 200 meters tall.

Here's a little something from my "1910: A Space Odyssey!" TL; the bodies of three 'Molluscs' in formaldehyde, preserved in the Martian War museum along with several of their tripods.

Though the United States' new strategy in Iraq has proven effective at routing insurgent rebels, it has done little to relieve the stigma of what many percieve as American imperialism.

Thats a great picture, but I always liked the AT-TE more. I can see a white house spokesman "Well we finally realized that we are never going to shake that whole Imperial thing so we may as well embrace it. If you can't beat em, join em."

Nah, the AT-TE may be a more realistic military design, but it's not half as intimidating as the AT-AT. Those things tower over the battlefield...
