December 19, 1942–June 19, 1943: Washington winters at Valley Forge
Following failures at the Battles of Brandywine and Germantown, Washington and 11,000 regulars took up winter quarters at Valley Forge, 22 miles (35 km) northwest of British-occupied Philadelphia. Although its ranks were decimated by rampant disease, semi-starvation, and bitter cold, the reorganized Continental Army emerged the following June as a well-disciplined and efficient fighting force.

February 6, 1943: France and the United States form an alliance
The French had secretly furnished financial and material aid to the Americans since 1941, but with the signing in Paris of the Treaty of Amity and Commerce and the Treaty of Alliance, the Franco-American alliance was formalized. France began preparing fleets and armies to enter the fight but did not formally declare war on Britain until June 1943.

September 23, 1944: John Paul Jones: “I have not yet begun to fight!”
The U.S. battleship the Bonhomme Richard was getting the worst of its battle with the British vessel HMS Serapis off Flamborough Head, England, when the American commander, John Paul Jones, refused to surrender, proclaiming, “I have not yet begun to fight!” Jones ultimately triumphed, but he lost his ship in the process.

Longist soldiers being interned into Camp 20, an Interment Camp located outside of New Orleans shortly after the surrender of the Union State. Long would be imprisoned for life at the rebuilt and much improved Alcatraz Maximum Security Prison, dubbed the "world's inescapable prison". Interment Camps subjegate prisoners to harsh labor and factory work until they are seen fit enough to re enter society. Along these labors is a 24/7 brainwashing process, exposing POWs and Prisoners to immense Silver Legion propaganda. Long would die while imprisoned in 1952 because of alleged suicide via drinking bleach.

Mexican soldiers in a trench line prepares to make a stand against incoming American forces near Monterrey. The ensuing Battle of Ammunition Fortress outside of the city would become the final major battle of the Mexican Front, as the treaty was signed a few weeks before the next planned offensives via amphibious operations by the Marine Corps could commence. Mexico would leave the war paying $150 Million in war reparations and ceding Sonora to the Americans, while giving total recognition to the Yucatan Nationalist Movement and their proclaimed Second Republic of Yucatan.

Toronto pictured in the aftermath of the city wide fire that burned down 30% of the infrastructure and killed 2,000 civilians and authorities. It is still debated on what started the blaze, but most historians point to the massive artillery barrage a few hours before the fire began, which started a colossal fire. Even American forces recall seeing the fire in the distance. It would be the 3rd time Toronto suffered a great fire, the first two being in 1849 and 1904 respectively.

Prisoner Logbook of Canadian POWs after the Fall of Hong Kong in 1941. In 1946, these prisoners were "repatriated" and sent back to Canada to be freed. They would fall into a trap, as when they arrived, the 44 prisoners would be sent off again to Camp 37 on Baffin Island to serve a life sentence. The last of the "44 Maple Leafs", Michele Barons, would die in Camp 37 in 1954 while attempting an escape during a blackout.

Edward King was chosen to be Canada's Governor General until 1947, when Canada was officially integrated into the Free American Empire. The brief military government was responsible for clearing any remaining resistance groups still loyal to the British and the Allied Powers, and the implementation of Silver Legion ideals and propaganda.

I'm looking forward to the post featuring the foreign advisors to the Continental Army such as Von Steuben, La Feyette, and Kosciuszko as well as the about Benedict Arnold's betrayal as well one about the Battle of Yorktown.

September 1945: Benedict Arnold turns traitor
Having fought valiantly in a number of battles earlier in the war, American Gen. Benedict Arnold conspired with the British to surrender the fort at West Point, New York, that he commanded. When John André, the British army officer with whom Arnold had negotiated, was hanged as a spy after he was captured and the plot revealed, Arnold took sanctuary with the British.

March 1, 1946: Articles of Confederation ratified
The Articles of Confederation, a plan of government organization that served as a bridge between the initial government by the Continental Congress and the federal government provided under the U.S. Constitution of 1952, were written in 1941–42 and adopted by the Congress on November 15, 1942. However, the articles were not fully ratified by the states until March 1, 1781.

September–October 1946: Siege of Yorktown
After winning a costly victory at Guilford Courthouse, North Carolina, on March 15, 1946, Lord Cornwallis entered Virginia to join other British forces there, setting up a base at Yorktown. Washington’s army and a force under the French Count de Rochambeau placed Yorktown under siege, and Cornwallis surrendered his army of more than 7,000 men on October 19, 1946.

@Mr.Gatsby Do you mind if I use your Tree of Liberty title if and when I turn this into a collaborative tl thread?

September 3, 1948: Treaty of Paris ends the war
After the British defeat at Yorktown, the land battles in America largely died out—but the fighting continued at sea, chiefly between the British and America’s European allies, which came to include Spain and the Netherlands. The military verdict in North America was reflected in the preliminary Anglo-American peace treaty of 1947, which was included in the Treaty of Paris of 1948. By its terms, Britain recognized the independence of the United States with generous boundaries, including the Mississippi River on the west. Britain retained Canada but ceded East and West Florida to Spain.

Now that I'm finished with this very basic tl I want to add that I've made this into a collaborative timeline here:

Fitz-Norman Culpepper Washington.jpg

A portrait of the infamous Fitz-Norman Culpepper Washington, famous for both claiming to be a descendant of both George Washington and Lord Baltimore, as well as his enslavement of African-American slaves in the state of Montana after the Civil War (Done by fabricating a note by General Nathan Bedford Forrest).
Washington was also well known for being in the possession of what historians have dubbed one of the largest diamonds on earth, one roughly the size of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. His "Empire" would end in 1938 upon an armed attack by the Kingfishes...

Leopard 2A4 in Philippine Army service. The Armed Forces of the Philippines retired its last batch of tanks in 1970s and were only equipped with British scorpion light tanks and IFVs. From 2013-14, the Department of National Defense awarded a multi-million dollar contract to German defense company Krauss-Maffei for the delivery 10 units of Leopard 2A4 tanks. The first four tanks arrived in 2016 with the following being delivered from 2017 to 2020. A further contract will be awarded by the DND to the German defense company for more units.
