I know the background of this ATL.but I have a little question. Is ARVN takes the strategies from defeated NVA and VietCong?

Yet another post from some RR TL ideas I have had. This time, taking influence from this outline of events for a possible TL of mine that borrows to varying degrees from @TheMann.
Santa Fe Pacific #3433 is seen here with one of the first trains of the railroad to serve its namesake city. Originally built in the early 1930s, this line was a response to the Rio Grande converting the Chili Line to standard gauge. This line's creation was a collaboration with the regional operations of the Civilian Conversation Corps, and was built quickly by having two crews work from the respective end points of Las Vegas and Kewa Pueblo.
This Rio Grande freight is headed to Santa Fe, NM over the Chili Line sometime in the 1980s. This line was one whose conversion from narrow to standard gauge has been considered, but was not implemented until it became part of the New Deal.

The film will also go into the development of the nascent New Republic and its divisive debate as to whether or not the Republic should demilitarise as well as the emergence of a mysterious figure known only as Snoke whose contacted Thrawn offering his services as a powerful ally to him.

So, where's this guy wanted in? The "cattle rustling" part makes me think Texas or some other western state
