An all female branch of the Garde du Commonwealth de Louisiane or as it translates to the Guard of the Commonwealth of Louisiana. The GCL mainly patrols the borders of the Commonwealth, in particular the heavily militarised Mississippi DMZ. Neighbouring the Confederacy, the two nations are nearly polar opposites, one being a self proclaimed democracy, the other being a constitutional monarchy, one is a slave state whilst the other is ruled by them, and one allowed women the right to vote in 1940, whilst the other allowed it in 1979.

January 20th, 1969. The newly sworn in President of the United States Frank Sinatra is seen singing "My Way".
The recording of this rendition would be stored in the National Archives. Many people have questioned his reasons for running for the presidency, many suggesting that he did it to get back at President John F. Kennedy, whom Sinatra would invite to his inauguration, even giving him and his wife a seat in the front row when he sung My Way, right next to Sinatra's VP Martin Luther King Jr.

Abraham-Lincoln-gay.jpg

15th US President Abraham Lincoln (1861 - 1869)
Known for his tendency to tell folk stories from his home back West, his sharp wit and humor and his knack for finding talented people to rely on. [...] After becoming President in the contentious 1860 Presidential Election many saw Civil War as inevitable. President Lincoln however wanted to save the Union at any cost and released a public statement in every newspaper that would print it asking for a meeting in DC between Southern leaders and himself. Remarkably the Washington Conference was agreed to with 14 prominent Southern leaders and Congressmen attending to represent most of the slave holding states. The Conference began May 1st, 1861 with Lincoln reading a speech he had written the night before, the now famous Boy and his Dog Speech. The first few days were spent with Lincoln assuring the angry Southern leaders he did not intend to free their slaves and wanted to respect the Missouri Compromise. What came next was a series of proposals and counter proposals to finally 'fix' the issue of slavery. The Conference dragged on for weeks only barely holding together at times as tensions between the Southern leaders and Lincoln grew. However as the Conference continued Secretary of State William Seward and Secretary of War Edwin Stanton began to make moves (on Lincoln's orders) to secure the slave states that saw the highest chance of secession. As local militia were seen as to unreliable regular army troops from Northern states were moved into or near critical positions across the South. Their orders were to act as a regular garrison until the state they were in moved to secede, they were to then quickly secure political and logistical hubs across the South to deny any fledgling secessionist movements the ability to resist Federal power. They were helped in a few states, most notably Texas, by Governors opposed to secession as a whole. When the Southern delegates finally announced they were withdrawing from the Conference and, according to some, the Union Lincoln felt forced to play his ace in the hole. Its said Lincoln calmly rose to his feet and pulled out a small, folded piece of paper and showed it to the Southern delegates. He then explained the fact that he could force the Southern states under lock and key by handing that paper to Secretaries Stanton and Seward. This worked and while some delegates decried the move as tyranny and left, most of the delegates returned to the table and the Southern States stayed with them. It was only revealed after the signing of the Washington Accord that the paper was blank. [..] By 1865 however the Carolina Crisis had passed, Colubmia was once again under Federal rule and Memminger and his cabal were behind bars. With that the looming specter of Civil War had finally been stamped out. Convinced by the swift response to the Crisis Congress finally ratified the Accord and tensions once again dissipated. While the tensions would continue until the Manumission of the Slaves in 1910, Lincoln's tact use of force and diplomacy is credited by many as saving the Union from a bloody Civil War.

Two months after the hunters encounter with the monster in South America now designated Varan, Japanese oceanographer Tsuyoshi Sugimora's expedition to the coast of Ogasawara Island is attacked and destroyed by an unknown monster, with only Dr. Sugimora surviving. During the attack, Dr. Sugimora is able to snap two pictures of the monster. The first picture depicts the left hand of the monster shortly after it emerged from the ocean in front of the survey ship

The second picture taken on zoom shows an extreme close-up of the right eye and jaw of the monster. What is noted in the two pictures of the creature is the keloid-scar type skin it has, which suggests the monster was exposed to extremley high heat-levels:

Less than a week after Dr. Sugimora's rescue, the English government tries to surpress a picture which shows a giant monster's footprint on the beach at Weston-Super-Mare. The reasoning behind their attempted supression of the photo is that they did not want to start a panic and cause people to abandon the coastal city, which was hit hard by the Sub-Prime mortage crisis. What is noted about the footprint is the presence of dead fish which have been irradiated yet contain no residual radiation:

Never paying any attention to the monster sighting from around the world, Admiral Ray Stantz of the USS Saratoga initially dismisses them as a threat to the US, claiming the US Navy destroyed the two monsters that attacked New York and can handle any more that come ashore in the US. His attitude changes when a WSKRS deployed the day before goes off-line but not before capturing a single image of what destroyed them:

On a early January morning out side of a police station in Atlanta the people woke to the site of hanging klans men. Upon unmasking these men they found that many belong to the police department and had their face painted black. Near by were a box of evidence linking police, judges, lawyers, doctors and even politicians to kkk and other racist groups.
The next week several of high ranking republican and other media right wing personalities was bombed.

The explosion could be seen from miles away.

With all these attacks the person or group behind it left a calling card...

Wheatfield_in_Manhattan (1).jpg

October 1st, 2003. A wheat field in New York City, part of the Empire of Lady King, not too long before the devastating bombing and sarin gas attack, on lower Manhattan, which would kill just under 2000 people, which King Asahara of Japan would take credit for. The international reaction would not be pleasant...
