I don't think missiles would "miss" Moscow. It would have been overtargeted just like Washington, D.C., London, and Paris, but for the sake the scenario, a deus-ex-machina saved the Soviet capital from annihilation.
Not all of the missiles were fired. Plenty of them that were targeting Moscow would not be fired and then rot away in their silos. Most of the submarine and air launched would be fired, but less than half of the ground based US missiles would be fired. They still blanketed targets across Russia, and the whole Moscow oblast was irradiated or cratered by nukes.I don't think missiles would "miss" Moscow. I wonder how bullets would fare against blasters. That is if world militaries are already producing blasters. From "Defiance of the Sith"
Corellia. A major industrial world was a target of the invasion by the International assistance force to the Alliance to restore the Republic and saw the largest invasion force by the Terrans up until that point in the war.
U.S.S Annapolis. The flagship of Captain Philomena Jones. Promoted for supporting direct fire in Corellia's atmosphere to a convoy of armored vehicles that took the imperial headquarters on the planet. She was also the representative of Earth to the Alliance.
Russian troops, While not a part of the ISAFARR did in fact join on the side of the Republics and were key in liberating the outer rim from the empire. Here a Russian Military policeman guards a Russian supply depo on the desert world of Aqqar. A planet leading to Mustafar on the hyperspace lanes.
In general blasters are considered stronger than their equivalents to bullets on a per weight ratio meaning weapons and their “ammunition” were lighter. Which to the people of Terra why blasters in the galaxy are relatively smaller than the main arms of earth soldiers and why space ships have larger blaster based weapons while generally speculated Terran space weapons in hard sci-fi contexts leaned towards gravity weapons.I wonder how bullets would fare against blasters. That is if world militaries are already producing blasters.
Just like the Colombia situation with Escobar's hippos.View attachment 733814
Following the introduction of hippopotamuses to the United States in 1910 to provide extra meat during a beef shortage, some would escape into the Louisiana bayou, where their numbers would increase in the following decades. This would lead to people hunting them to keep their numbers in check.
Hippos have also been tamed (though not domesticated) so that people can ride them through the rivers and swamps where vehicles and horses can't go.
The above picture shows a group of five hippo bounty hunters in the Louisiana Bayou on the backs of their own tamed hippos.
