I would love to see how the 20th Century is examined in this reality. I can see many sources around the world describing it as a century of fragmentation and de-civilization enabled by the progression of the three world wars. The First World War lead to the break-up/revolution of several major dynastic empires (Austria, Ottoman Turkey, Russia, Germany). The Second World War saw the discrediting/break-up of Western European colonial empires (Britain, France, Holland). The Third World War/Doomsday saw civilizational destruction on a scale and speed of which the only (potentially) comparable analogy was the Late Bronze Age Collapse. In the end, most major cities in the Northern Hemisphere were destroyed and the old nation-states survived (if at all) as highly vestigial forms often in exile (akin to the Kuomintang's fleeing to Taiwan after the post-WWII Communist takeover over China). The world of digitalization/neoliberal globalization would be crushed in its infancy and the cities that would become "global cities" in OTL would be radioactive ash!

Probably 20th century is seen on same light as 5th century. Slow death of known civilisation. 21st century would mark rise of new powers. It is going to last decades if not centuries before Northern Hemisphere is mostly recovered from WW3.

Actually, the sixth century saw a greater decline of civilization than the fifth century.

Tbh yeah the after Doomsday era can be described as a mini-bronze age collapse, but just like in the aftermath of the bronze era civilizations remerge from the chaos and built anew. Though much of the western world is worst then before, not just in terms of health.

Royal Yacht Brittania on display in Port Elizabeth, Dominion of South Africa. The Royal Yacht was used to evacuate Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip on Doomsday and suffered intense radiation dosage from the fallout along the south coast which contributed to the death of Queen Elizabeth in 1984. The Yacht was subsequently decontaminated and used to evacuate King Andrew and other leading British figures to Port Elizabeth where it was subsequently retired in 1989 and converted into a museum ship

The Queen Mother has attained great popularity over the years and from the 1990s onwards was seen as being more popular then her husband the late King Andrew. Since 2015 she has helped her son King William transition into being a monarch and continues to occasionally represent him at official occasions
