--Garret Fitzgerald, initially Taisoeach and leader of Fine Gael in Ireland, become leader of the Celtic Democratic Bloc with more liberal Fine Gael members along with SDLP members in the north, and surviving Labour members in Ireland and the former UK. Served from 1990 until his retirement after the 1994 General Election defeat. He remained an elder statesman within the party until his death in 2011

--Ieuan Wyn Jones, the last Chairman of pre war Plaid Cymru, became an Assembly Member in 1986 and served as Agriculture Minister successfully assisting in rebuilding farms in the Welsh Valley and Scottish Highlands. He was seen as a pragmatist but being Welsh n the largely Irish celtic he struggled to overcome his outsider status that only intensified after losing the 1998 election and in 2000 he resigned the leadership. Nonetheless he went on to have a long stint as speaker of the Celtic Parliament under Willie O'Dea's government

--Willie O'Dea, a Fianna Fail TD who jumped ship when the party collapsed, was seen as a likeable no nonsense figure whose approval ratings skyrocketed after he won the leadership in 2000. His law and Order approach and ease with people won him the 2002 election and re-election in 2006. However the left of the party was critical of his handling of the economic crisis in 2008 and he was subsequently turfed out by his Finance Minister

--Alex Salmond, the comeback kid of celtic politics, was a student activist turned economist, helped lead the charge on negotiations to form the Celtic Alliance and was elected to the first Parliament in 1986, rising up the ranks as Energy and later Finance Minister in Willie O'Dea's cabinet he took the top job in 2009 in a caucus room coup only to lose the 2010 election by a caucus upset by O'Dea's demise. Nevertheless the corruption scandals in the Yates Government gave Salmond a slim majority at the 2014 General Election although his gaffes in foreign affairs, particularly in dealing with the British survivor nations, were widely ridiculed and in 2018 became the only prime minister to lose his seat when Dalderiac won the seat of Gordon from him

--Barry Cowen, a relative unknown outside of farming circles and a one time protegee of Speaker Jones, narrowly won the leadership after the defeat of Alex Salmond in 2018 although his leadership quickly fell into chaos with poor performance in debates and a now infamous interview where he appeared to be drunk lead to his resignation in 2021

--Nicola Sturgeon, previously Housing Minister, took the leadership in 2021 following the resignation of Barry Cowen and she currently holds a slight lead for the upcoming Celtic General Election and could become the Alliance's first female Prime Minister

Leaders of the Centre Right Dalderiac Party of the Celtic Alliance Post Doomsday

Desmond O'Malley lead the Dalderiac Party after the split and subsequent collapse in Fianna Fail in 1985. Later joined forces with DUP, UUP and surviving UK conservatives to form the Dalderiac Party which while losing the 1986 election and very narrowly again losing in 1990 quickly became the leading opposition party and O'Malley retired in 1992 as an elder statesman within the party
images - 2022-09-20T224852.596.jpeg

--David Trimble, a former law professor and survivor of the attack on Belfast had a spectacular rise having stood for the Dalderiac Party in Upper Bann in the 1990 election and after taking the leadership in 1992 lead the party to a landslide victory in 1994 and 1998. Rumors abound of a secret deal ("The Bewleys Deal") with Finance Minister John Bruton that saw Trimble step down in 2001 to be succeeded by Bruton as his anointed successor although this has never been confirmed
images - 2022-09-20T224755.578.jpeg

--John Bruton to date is the shortest serving Prime Minister of the Celtic Alliance. Having had a long career as a TD, Cabinet Minister Assembly Member he seemed a natural successor to David Trimble but quickly became mocked in the media for his awkward mannerisms and anglophilic attitude. He stayed on as opposition leader before being ousted in 2005
images - 2022-09-20T224406.974.jpeg

--Ivan Yates, parachuted in as an emergency candidate after poor polling under Bruton years he managed to save the party from expected severe losses in the 2006 election and gradually built up a profile until his victory in the 2010 election. Yates was a popular Prime Minister at first however in 2014 his links to the horse racing industry and Businessman Sean Quinn lead to a narrow election defeat. Tainted as a crook Yates resigned immediately following the election
images - 2022-09-20T224721.094.jpeg

--Simon Coveney, widely seen as a moderate and moderniser within the party, won the leadership aged 42 and set about setting the Dalderiac Party on a more moderate course in line with "One Nation" conservatism of the pre Doomsday conservatives and relaxing the parties approach on Same Sex Marriage. This was successful as Coveney won the 2018 General Election in a landslide
