Pre-Doomsday Comic of He-Man of DC Comics. Originally a Toy Line, and mini-comic series by Mattel and DC Comics, it tells of Prince Adam who with the 'Power of Grayskull' becomes the hero, He-Man, that combat the demon sorcerer, Skeletor, on the world of Eternia.

A TV series by Filmation was barely off the ground when World War 3 took place.

For a time, He-Man and his line, Masters of the Universe, was simply among ruined toys and bits of artwork of a begone world, He-Man and his characters found life with American Comics/American Entertainment being among the rights they pick up, seeing an new line of comics and even a TV-Series with great popularity.

A Soviet and an East-German soldier hold a competition to see who can (dis)assemble their rifle the fastest, somewhere during the cold war.

JDS Hamayuki (DD-126)

Both the Mineyuki and the Hamayuki are the only surviving ships of the Hatsuyuki-class destroyers as they were both moored at Maizuru which was miraculously spared during Doomsday. Most of the JMSDF's warships were destroyed at their ports at Sasebo and Yokosuka or abandoned in Kure Naval Yard due to the radation coming from the strikes at Sasebo and Nagaski.

Spain's flag joins those of other NATO nations in front of the NATO headquarters building in at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, June 5, 1982, in the ceremonies celebrating Spain's accession to NATO. Spain was the last nation to join the alliance just a year before Doomsday (DOD File Photo).

Wreaths in a WWII memorial in the Celtic Alliance as part of the 75th anniversary of Victory over Japan Day, August 15, 2020. Even after Doomsday, the successor states of the Allied Nations continue to commemorate VJ Day as tribute to the lives lost in the Second World War and by extent, to the lives lost to nuclear fire.

Vintage photo Jollibee Yumburger, late 1970s/early 80s. Post-Doomsday, the Filipino fast food chain has expanded into Southeast Asia and into the ANZC, filling the void where KFC, McDonald's, and Burger King once stood.

VAT 69 Commando is the second special forces unit after the 21st GGK that played a major role in the fight against Malayan Communist Party forces during the insurgency. As of 1983, the Malaysian government and the MCP had yet to reach agreement to end an insurgency. With Doomsday occurring, the insurgency continued on.

The Guaita Castle overlooking the City of San Marino, Republic of San Marino. The microstate located on the northeastern side of the Apennine Mountains survived Doomsday all throughout due to having no significant tactical and strategic value to both sides of the Cold War.
