A few different things. She's done stage work, in college and in the Abbey Theatre, as well as some of the Celtic Alliance's main films (including most famously The Darkness Within a thriller/mystery film about a troubled young Dublin woman who acts as an anti-hero private detective - think Girl with the Dragon Tattoo only Celtic ) In more light entertainment, before she embarked on a career in politics she was one of the two stars in Great Power, a series about a young woman in college in Dublin who begins to develop superpowers and becomes a superhero - she played the main character's room-mate/best friend and confidante/ultimately significant other.
