Wallops Space Flight Center, the main development facility and teaching center of Delmarva at least 3,000 work at the site, studying everything from agronomy, munitions devleopment, and the long term effects of the Doomsday on people and the environment, to new sources of energy, the restoration and repair of electornics, and the possiblity of someday launching a crude satellite into orbit to monitor the weather.

A new mural painted on Gallup/Naʼnízhoozhí, former NM. It´s part of Dinetah since 1990, and in 2023 has been rebuilt and repopulated by former inhabitants

Air Canada Flight 797 lands in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport after suffering a mid-flight fire that killed 23 passengers on June 2, 1983. This was one of the notable airline incidents prior to Doomsday.
