A poster for the unreleased film Scarface (1983). The movie was suppose to be released on December 9 had it not for Doomsday happening in September. Like with many movies that were originally suppose to come out in late 1983 and early-to-mid 1984, it is considered to be a piece of lost media.

The Turkish Army deployed to secure and maintain order after Doomsday. The country lost the capital of Ankara and the largest city of Istanbul, Izmir, and the USAF base at Incirlik. There were clashes between Turkish and Soviet soldiers in the mountainous border with the USSR.

1984, Legendary luchador wrestler "El Santo" (Rodolfo Guzman Huerta) reveals his face to the audience for the only time in his entire career. He passed away only 10 days later at the age of 66.
