Rothera Research Station, the capital of the British Antarctic Territory, which after Doomsday and is a sector of Antarctica claimed by the Dominion of South Africa. (The Antarctic Treaty is now defunct and the Dominion maintain a small permanent town on the coast of the Weddell Sea to attempt to get the natural resources located there.)

Tuscan soldier from the 'Folgore’ Parachute Brigade; on a field uniform; he is camouflaged uniform now only worn by paratroopers and marines; note padding at shoulder, elbow and knee. Berets are maroon for paratroopers (including Carabinieri battalion), cornflower blue for Army aviation, green for Lagunari, black (before 1982, khaki drab) for all other branches, with silver metal branch badges usually in a ringed version of the peaked cap badge. The weapon here is the folding-stock BM-59 rifle.

The only F-16 of Friesland and one of the few planes of that series that survived Doomsday
The former 322nd squadron RNAIF was the first Dutch F-16 to become operational. This happened on May 1st, 1981. Although it was an interception squadron in the F-104G era, it now became operational in the FBA task. Which was very rare for a Leeuwarden based squadron at that time. The CWI task was added a year later. From that moment onwards it was mainly active in the QRA task. This plane got storaged after Doomsday, after Leeuwarden AFB didn´t got nuked
