The Jim Crow Museum in Birmingham, Alabama, the first of its kind, illustrates the rise and fall of segregation in the 1990s.

An architectural consortium, comprising several leading architectural firms, conceptualised the design of the building on a seven-hectare stand. The museum is a superb example of design, space and landscape offering the international community a unique Southern experience.

The exhibits have been assembled and organzed by a multi-disciplinary team of curators, film-makers, historians and designers. In 1995 Freedom Caucus led by John Lewis, Jesse Jackson and Barbara Lee set up a process for the granting of casino licenses, establishing an agency to do this called the Gambling Board. The bid documents stipulated that bidders should demonstrate how they would attract tourism and thereby grow the economy and stimulate job creation.

The 1980s/1990s were some of the most brutal years for African-Americans, as many white Southerners led by Governor David Duke (R-LA) formed Christian Constitution Militias (CCM) in an effort to uphold segregation policies, often in defiance of the federal government. It was only through the work and diligence of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission of 2004, did the full scope of the violence, murder and degradation come to light:

Agree. OTL imperial Japan was horrible but I can't see it going ITTL as genocidal as in OTL. And these numbers are just impossible. People even wouldn't accept such killings. IDK what were plans of Japanese imperialists in OTL but hardly commiting such genocides. They weren't like nazis. And such killing would be veyr impractical. How you then would settle all of that empty lands and keep control?
