Philippe VII/Charles X instead of Louis XV?

WI along with his father and his elder brother, Louis of Anjou (Louis XV) also dies and his uncle Charles, duc de Berry lives as Louis' death butterflies away his death while the war of Spanish Sucession goes OTL. Does Philippe now renunce the French throne and Charles takes it or does he give the Spainsh Crown to Charles? And what happens in such a scenario?

This is a really delicate scenario because the dynastic idea was to have the elder branch on the french throne and a junior branch on the spanish throne.

It would be very risky for Louis XIV, before the end of the war, to explain to the spanish authorities and people as well to the other european kingdoms, that finally it would not be Philip but Charles who would become king of Spain.

Why risky? To the Allies, one Bourbon in Spain would've been as bad as another. That said, Anjou had a son already, and his wife was pregnant with their third son, he'd be born in June.

They would've just said son no1, Luis, would become dauphin, and a regency would be appointed for the infant Felipe VI in Spain. And OTL Fernando VI born a year later, would serve as a convenient spare.

I doubt very seriously that they would trade Crowns at this point. After all, Philip V would have been King of Spain for 15 years and I doubt that the Spanish people would take their King abandoning them well. So most likely, Berri becomes Charles X, and if he doesn't have living children will find a way to be succeeded by a son of Philip V
