Phased out/Protracted Austrian Succession

So I was thinking for a potential timeline a protracted or phased out succession of Charles VI.
Basically, something happens to him that he know for sure he won't have a son at all (an accident that renders him infertile or an illness that he could pass away from at any moment) so Charles VI decides to slowly abdicate from his realms. In the order below
Austria & Austrian Nederlands
Kingdom of Bohemia
But he keeps the throne in Hungary and Croatia until he dies.

Now how would this affect Bavarian, French and Brandenburg-Prussian scheming. Could Charles VI call for a vote for King of Romans knowing he's dying, it'd be obvious if the Wittlesbach's try to delay that their scheming something... How would that play out

One thing he could have done was NOT pay for France to recognize Pragmatic Sanction. Unlike the others, it was really obvious France wouldn't keep its word due to the bad blood they had with Austria. The money spent bribing France could have run Austria's entire state for 3 years... on a war footing. There isn't any reason to distrust the Prussians (yet) other than the fact that they like th other Germans were still male centered.

The Hohenzollerns had been snubbed by the Habsburgs fairly recently but you are correct there really was no way to predict fritz the sudden challenge from Brandenburg-Prussia
