Yes Sisi does want to restore the Arab nationalist movement to an extent. Some of differences between himself and Nasser though. Sisi is less anti monarchist for instance but they still have alot in common. This was pretty interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvDj7jE2hlk

Being next to Algeria I suspect that the most likely scenario would be for Tunisia to stay neutral if it doesn't want to get clobbered by its neighbor.

Yeah that would make sense, ill add it to my next part. They are still politically unstable at this point in the aftermath of Ennahda Party's resignation from power. I don't think the interim government will want to get involved in a war.

I have some ideas about how Tunisia can play an important future role in the TL but Ill get to that at a later date.;)

Unrealistic Algerian actions but still an interesting TL.

Thanks.:) Yeah it might be stretching it a bit with Algeria and them reacting aggressively to Egypt. For this I'm just taking their ambassador at his word:

Algeria has declared its ability and readiness to defend Libya from any Egyptian invasion of its eastern border.

The ambassador told Sawan that the Algerian army is prepared to protect the Libyans from any Egyptian troop incursion in eastern Libya. The Algerian army, he insisted, would not stand idly by.

If I ever rehash the TL Ill probably write Algeria out and make it more focused on Turkey-Qatar's activities in Libya.

The reason why I think it's unrealistic:
The libyans are more friendly towards morocco, since the algerians were pro Ghadafi.
So the comment by the ambassador was just a comment to oppose what Sisi said.
Also their army didn't intervene in Mali so I doubt they would help a government that is pro-morocco.

Interesting. The ambassador was probably just trying to sound tough.;)
