Throughout the Kingdom of Hawaii there was heighten security as a result of the Inspectors phone call. In Tahiti the branch of the Constabulary acted quickly to insure no terrorist bombing and the same happen everywhere. Three suspects were arrested in the Marianas Islands by the territorial Branch of the Royal Hawaiian Constabulary. There was an incident in Canada and one in French North Africa.
University of Hawaii: The University of Hawaii was part of a group of Universities and Scientist that were studying Volcanoes and earthquakes and their effect on Climate and people. In fact the University received feedback from sensors that had been implanted in locations all over the world. Hawaii had an semi active Volcano on the big Island , which would erupt from time to time. Recently data arriving indicated a possible eruption at Mount St Helen's in the State of Washington and one in Alaska. The only area that was of some concern in Europe was Iceland but it was not regarded as a big threat . There had been several quakes that were of concern and information was passed on to the Empire of the Rising Sun about a potential sea quake.

The study of Volcanoes and their impact on climate was of major concern to the Scientist at the University of Hawaii and the University of Vancouver. When Mount St Helen's erupted it was clear that the impact would reach far into Canada and as far south as Northern California and Nevada and as far east as the Dakotas. It was the belief of the experts that the impact would eventually reach Europe. When world arrived that there had also been some activity in Alaska there was a belief that the winter that was coming would be colder and result in higher than normal snow fall.
Prime Minister Lingle Campaigned throughout the Kingdom to ensure that the National Conservative Party retained its majority. The Kingdom's first female Prime Minister was quite popular and the polls take showed a strong probability that she would win another term.. The Prime Minister was known to continue to support Space exploration but the kingdom would be restricted in its ability to fund the project. The Terran Space authority had been created by the alliance to help continue to keep space exploration going. The Authority had the following member: Hawaii, United States, Germany, Great Britain, Austrian Empire, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Brazil. South Africa,Ireland. The Empire of the Rising Sun had also asked to join and the Republic of China was expected to petition to join as was France and Spain.
Office of the Prime Minister: A special report arrived on the desk of the Prime Minister from a Joint study group from the Royal College of Hawaii and the University of Hawaii regarding the possible impact on the world's weather if the dormant Super Volocano in the United States were to explode. The conclusion was that the impact on the United States would be massive but the impact on the worlds climate might very well be as bad as during The Fall. The group had recommended the construction of a air filtration plant. So built in Canada was the Alberta Special project Plant. It was built with funding from a special fund and was powered by a small nuclear reactor. The report was asking for support from the Prime Minister to recommend to the Allied council the construction of 14 additional plants as an insurance.
The Hawaiian Space Authority is very concern about a Satellite which had been put into orbit. Indications are that it was launched in the region of China but the HSA is studying the data and is unsure as to wheather it was launched by the Republic of China or the Han Republic. All that is known is that the satellite appears to be causing problems. Two jet airlines have crashed landed as a result of the satellite. The Royal Hawaiian Air Force has consulted with the RAF and asked for it to examine the wreckage of the planes.
A decision was reached to launch as much supplies to the Luna base as was possible. The base had been expanded and now had the capacity to house 2,800 people. With the possibility that the rogue satellite might prevent futher supplies from being sent for a really long time everything was being done. The area affected was expanding and now covered all of China, Mongolia, lot of Siberia, Tibet and Northern part of Korea and Indochina. A decision was made to try to destroy the satellite before it widen its coverage. The Royal Hawaiian Navy used 4 of its advanced destroyers to fire all of their missile load at the Satellite. The Royal Navy and Royal Air Force was doing the same.
The Hawaiian Navy was joined by the Royal Navy the Empire of the Rising Sun and now Germany, Austria and Russia in attempting to destroy the Satellite that was becoming a grave threat to the world. The amount of missiles fired was incredible. The Satellite was not destroyed but the barrage had effectively stopped its ability to advance and cover more of the earth. The Germans and the Hawaiians were working on a crash program to develop an ASAT Missile that would have enough of a punch to destroy it or weaken it. The alternative would be the fact that the Space program would be stopped from the earth and that missile and jet technology would become non operational. Meaning a return to turboprop aircraft and a refitting of warships with guns.
The best Scientist in the world were working on the problem. The best that had been done so far was the Satellite had been prevented from expanding its ability. The Question was had it been permanently checked or was this just temporary. The allies decided to act like it might be temporary and plan accordingly. Meanwhile an effort fas mad to get at least 15 of the new ASAT Missiles ready and launch them at the same time from at least 5 different areas.
The Royal Hawaiian Intelligence Agency together with the Royal Hawaiian Air Force and the Hawaiian Space Agency were working on the problem. They had confirmed information supplied by the Empire of the Rising Sun. Looking at data from past Missile launches and communication the Royal Hawaiian Intelligence Agency now had recovered and processed data from the launch in Han Republic. It appeared that some 18 hours after its launch the Satellite began to act in an unexpected manner. The Ground control attempted to correct the problem but thing just continued to get worse. An attempt was made according to the Royal Hawaiian Air Force to destroy the satellite but it would not accept the command. The Satellite appeared to be pausing any further expansion in its zone. The threat was contained but continued to exist.
