Peru WI: Lourdes Flores comes in 2nd in 2006

What if the candidate for the National Unity Party (AIUI, a Christian Democratic party) had come in second in the first round for Peru's Presidential Election in 2006? Would she have won in the second round, or would it have been the more leftist Humala? And what would this mean for Peru, South America, et el, in the years to come?

Humala's economic policy was actually quite Conservative. I don't see much difference to be honest. Maybe in terms of international relations, the Chavez government would have had one less ally, relations with Ecuador would have been slightly more tense, too.

Peru would voice its intention to join the TPP earlier, but this is moot if Trump is getting elected anyway.
