How can the Spanish stay in the Visayas instead of move the capital to Manila. Why would the Spanish want to move somewhere else where the people are hostile to them. The Cebuanos were more loyal to the Spanish than the Tagalogs. Moving the capital to Manila is like the Spanish moving her capital to Barcelona because it is a rich port. It would also be like moving the capital of Mexico to Merida, Yucatan. Why did they risk such a move? There's a better location for the capital in Iloilo. I wonder what would happen to Cordillera if the capital was in the Visayas.

I made some research that the Hindus of Northern Luzon were hostile to the Spanish and the Muslims of Northern Luzon had some alliance with the Lucoes or the people of Manila and Southern Luzon which made them susceptible to conversion - the Spanish were able to control the coasts of Northern Luzon and North of Manila bay due to the alliances between the Muslims North and South of Luzon, I think what needs to happen in this scenario is to destroy the alliance of the Lucoes and the Muslims in Northern Luzon or at least have Tarik Soliman from Macabebe live, if he survives the Bangkusay battle Soliman and Lakandula remain enemies and Tarik and the Muslims in the North would become hostile since Tarik is against the Spanish and knows of their motives.

Having a hostile faction in the North might mean the Spanish might remain south and Northern Luzon remains independent till a power would like to make it as a protectorate like the Dutch did to Java and they will do better than that of the Mindanaoans.
