Hey, AH.com, check this website out. It's like a fusion between Wikipedia and Twitter, but also has some unique features that make it very interesting... and useful for AH purposes. You can create a "Vita" which is like a collaborative portfolio, which I have found makes timelines look great, especially for ones that multiple people are working on. I'm imagining that some of the collaborative timelines on this site would do really well if they were showcased there. Even Jared's Lands of Red and Gold or Hendryk's Superpower Empire could benefit, as members have contributed maps and images to both, making them somewhat collaborative.
As an example, I uploaded my own timeline A Lenin-less World onto PV. You can find the link in my signature or right here. There is a sign-up-first policy, which I think they need to take down so you can get right in and see what it's all about, but, I promise, they don't send you a ton of spam or sell your e-mail address to other companies. I haven't been treated badly at all since I've signed up. Quick, painless, sign-up and then you can check out my Vita and make your own for your own timelines.
Anyway, really cool website, and I love the idea. Seems really Web 2.0 to me. I just imagine that AH.com could benefit from using the service to showcase their work.
