Perfectly Ravishing. A Wrestling TL

"When you look back at brilliant tag teams you come up with the LOD, the Midnight Express, Harlem Heat. I firmly believe Perfectly Ravishing should have been right up there. If there wasn't that much fucking jealousy and if they swerved on a few things they would have been"

Jim Cornette 2013

Rude and Hening had been friends for many years and had joined the wrestling business at the same time. Hening had wrestling in his genes being the son of the legendary Larry 'The Axe' Hening. Rude was a major in physical education so in terms of actual athletic ability they were already prepared. Whilst they started their careers separately it wasn't long before they started teaming up.

Their first major impact was in the AWA. Hening was facing Nick Bockwinkel for the world title. Bockwinkel who excelled as a face was just about to beat Hening when the referee took a bump. Rude ran out and flattened Bockwinkel with a DDT. Hening covered him for the three-count and won the AWA title.

Perfect and Rude dominated the AWA for a year. While they never teamed officially they would be in each other's corner and won the tag team titles Eventually WWF came calling for the pair and the AWA decided to ensure they left with a flea in their collective ears. On the 11th of August 1990 (AWA's last tv taping). Rude and Perfect lost both the tag and world titles in a winner takes all match to the team of Greg Gange and Wahoo Macdaniel.

Arriving in September 1990 Perfectly Ravishing under the managership of Bobby Heenan immediately clashed with the LOD leading to a feud between the two. This led to a match as Survivor Series 1990 where Perfectly Ravishing and Demolition lost to the team of Jim Hellwig, The Texas Warrior and the LOD. This did not end the feud. In fact it was just the beginning.
