PC/WI Israel gets involved in the 1974 Cyprus emergency.

What POD or events would force Israel to commit forces to Cyprus in support of Greek Cypriot's after Turkish forces invaded in 1974?

These could be ground forces landing in Cyprus and actually taking on Turkish forces, or Israel air and sea assets interdicting Turkish sea and air transports and thus stopping Turkish forces gaining a foothold in Cyprus.

What would the implications be internationally especially with Europe, the USSR and the Middle East especially with Turkey?

Israel and Turkey were on generally good terms at the time, so I don't see how that could work without an earlier change, probably in Turkey itself. But that might create a different situation and butterfly the Turkish invasion entirely.

This strikes me as almost unreasonably difficult. As Falecius says, Israel was very close with Turkey. Israel's alliance with the US is pretty new at this point, while that with Turkey dates nearly from the foundation of the country. On the other hand, the US just bailed out Israel...though Israel may not see it that way. That said, the US right now is completely bereft of leadership. In July 1974, Nixon is heavily embattled. He's been battered by scandal for months now and it mere weeks away from resignation. Between that and Rabin having been Prime Minister for all of a month or so, and trying to secure a peace treaty with Egypt...

Even the US and UK, which had the SBAs on Cyprus, didn't intervene overtly ... seems impossible the Israelis would chose to do so; getting between two NATO member states would be extremely unlikely.
