PC: Thomas Wolsey as Pope?

Suppose the Great Matter didn't happen and Henry was still Catholic in name, is there a plausible time period or scenario in which Thomas Wolsey can become the Pope?

Thomas Wolsey, was the prefered candidate of King Henry VIII, during both the 1521 and 1523 Papal Conclave, with Henry willing to spend 100,000 ducats to have him elected.

So if King Henry VIII was more determinded, maybe Wolsey could take the office in 1521, allowing Henry to have his divorce to Catherin, keeping England under the Catholic influence.

Annulment, not divorce- Catholics don't do divorce, in spite of the definition of annulment as "a form of Catholic divorce available to the wealthy and well-connected".

With an annulment from the Pope and still more an early annulment Mary's position will be safe. She will remain legitimate, a royal princess and her father heiress presuntive until the birth of a half-brother and she will likely make a very good royal match (James V of Scotland or the Dauphin Francis are the most likely ones)
