In that case, I would say that postponing the Norwegian independence is quite c [FONT="]onceivable.
In 1905 it was the institution of a seperate corps of Norwegian Consuls that was the case. The Swedes refused, and the Norwegians declared independence.
As long ast the Swedish side gives in to Norwegian demands, the Union can last. OTOH some historians states the the consulate issue was a deliberate case to have the Swedes refusing.
