PC:Ottoman Reconquest of Greece post 1832

I don't think it's plausible. I think they could establish a puppet regime in Greece and treat it de facto as an extension of the Ottoman Empire in a scenario where they experience a resurgence, but I don't think the Great Powers would ever tolerate their pet project in the Balkans being reannexed after a generation of their notables spent their youths romanticizing Greek independence. Ignoring the geopolitical aspects, anyways, just the emotional strings which would be pulled alongside the geopolitical arguments should the Ottomans attempt this.

I'd even go so far as to say that you have a better chance of Greece attempting to rejoin the Ottoman Empire than the Empire conquering it, if the OE experiences a sudden and dramatic upturn early into the 19th century that snowballs it into a superpower by the mid-20th century that sees Greece completely dominated economically and politically by Ottoman Greeks. To the point that Greece is essentially a Vilayet with no political representation or voice in government. Which in theory, could see the establishment of a reannexation movement based on sheer practicality plus the example set by the politically and economically powerful Ottoman Greeks that remained within the Empire that beats back most of the arguments that appeal to past injustices.

Well the war would bring the British and maybe the Russians into the war, the Ottomans would have to partition Greece with Egypt to please them. If they don't RIP the Ottomans
