PC: Nomadic Invasion of Qin

In the TL I'm working on, nomadic peoples displaced by the Tocharians, who are displaced by the Scythians invade Qin in the 300s BC. How plausible is that?

At the time, China was still divided, but was heavily dominated by the most powerful Qin. Since Qin was still concentrated in the West, it wouldn't be implausible for the frequently rebellious nomads on the Hetao reigons to defect, or be conquered. however the Guanzhong and Bashu reigons would plausibly hold out, which are heavily fortified with over a couple cemturies of constant war in the reigon. Meanwhile, the Xiongnu or any protomongolic tribe would also be forced to counter this threat to their hegemony nomad on nomad. So I would think this invading tribe would be like a Chinese version of Attila, strong to penetrate deep into Chinese lands but never reaching the heartlands.
The Qin would also be a strong enemy compared to the Romans, as they were once Nomads, and had good experience fighting agaimst the Xiyi nomads.
This could be an interesting scenario--war of the three nomads. The Eastern Chinese states would watch in glee as their greatest enemy was taken, no, torn apart limb by limb.
