PC: John Redmond's dream succeeds

That is difficult with a post 1900 POD. The Liberals were deeply reluctant to go back to Home Rule after Gladstone and were essentially forced into doing so after they lost their majority in 1910. The Lords also need to be reformed first to, so short of the Unionists losing the Khaki Election it is hard to see Home Rule happening earlier than it did OTL.

Ulster is a huge stumbling block and even if violence can be averted, which is by no means certain finance is another iceberg (as customs and excise proved to be in OTL Irish Convention.)

If Home Rule actually does succeed Redmond would probably come under rapid pressure to push Ireland towards a dominion like autonomy - even in OTL Canada was frequently cited by nationalists as an example to follow.

Basically, assuming Home Rule can be introduced keeping Ireland in the Commonwealth with the British monarch as head of state is quite possible. Keeping Ireland in the UK (as Northern Ireland was in OTL) will much, much harder. That desire for greater autonomy will be there.
