PC: French Victory in War of Spanish Succession?

Edited due to the below post.

Is it at all possible for France to manage to keep its claims to Spains throne, allowing a Personal Union to be formed between the two countries, or perhaps even an inheritance?

Err...You know this war was won by France's led coalition, right? Granted, the peace treaty didn't go as far than Louis XIV wanted (but admittedly, it would have been really implausible to go further).

I mean :

- Conquests of Louis XIV in Europe granted by treaty (in exchange of Acadia and Hudson, as well asiento agreement between Spain and England)
- Phillip king of Spain, neutralizing Austro-Spanish surrounding of France

While France, as all Europe, was exhausted by war effort, it looks like a victory (not a crushing one indeed) to me.

I shall rephrase it then, via editing.

Well, depsite the agreement made that Philippe V couldn't inherit France's throne, as well for the reverse...

Depending on France's strength, if UK isn't able to do something about it (civil war, etc.), Bourbons could just sit on the treaty and press this claim.
