PC: Britain invading Germany during Fall Weiss?

I was wondering,...when Germany went to war with Poland and began Fall Weiss, could Britain have potentially launched an amphibious invasion from the North sea into Northwestern Germany?

I'm trying to think of ways things that would have had Poland possibly at least hold out longer, if nothing else.

Simple answer: No.

I'm trying to think of ways things that would have had Poland possibly at least hold out longer, if nothing else.

Have no Soviet intervention, or as The Red suggests have the French mount a serious offensive in the West.

I once started a short story where a British Royal Marine force is dispatched to Hamburg to rescue British nationals, as well as a brilliant physicist by the name of Albert Einstein, in the midst of a German civil war between Communist insurgents, rightist paramilitaries and the army in the 1920s.
