For the TL in my signature, I'm at a loss for what to do with Anne of York (b.1475), daughter of Edward IV. Her eldest sisters are already married to Joao II of Portugal (Elizabeth); Fransez II, Duke of Brittany (Mary) and the future king of Scots (Cecily). I originally had her slated for marriage to the son of Fernando & Isabel (TTL b.1475).

Anne of Brittany is off the cards as a wife for Charles VIII since she has a brother - Richard, comte d'Etampes. Ergo, she's no heiress, and the French are willing to allow her to marry elsewhere, so long as the comte d'Etampes marries a French bride.

Likewise, Elizabeth of York's marriage to Joao II has screwed the pooch for a Spanish match for Edward IV's daughters, since Joao was slated to wed the eldest daughter of Fernando & Isabel (after his divorce from La Beltraneja was finalized). Ergo, Isabel, already disliking Joao II for backing her rival, now dislikes him even more for rejecting her namesake daughter. Plus, she bears a grudge against Edward IV for jilting her and marrying Elizabeth Wydeville. So Anne's chances to wind up in Spain are effectively nil.

The duke of Burgundy (only child of Charles the Bold and Margaret of York) is Anne's first cousin, and Edward IV and his sister are currently on the outs, since the Diabolical Duchess is hosting the earl of Warwick, and resentful of Edward's judicial murder of George, duke of Clarence. So I don't foresee a match between these two cousins (also, Margaret is looking to wed her son to Anne of Brittany or Philippa of Guelders).

Charles VIII likewise has rather limited options with regards to brides. He's currently engaged to Fernando-Isabel's eldest daughter, but Fernando is looking for a way out of it. So, say Fernando does find a way out of the engagement (which I'm planning) this leaves Charles once again single. With Catherine of Navarre married, and Margaret of Austria born male, would Anne of York be considered for future Queen of France?
