PC: an independent Senussi Libya after a CP victory in WWI

The Senussi Rebellion was a berber rebellion, situated in then-italian-controlled Libya, that served as a minor theater of WWI, which lasted from late 1915 to early 1917. The Senussis were supported by the ottomans and the germans as a divertion from ottoman attacks on the british-controlled Suez Canal, and also as a distraction against the italians. Multiple offensive operations on part of the italians and british gradually diminished the force of the Senussi, up until their leadership officially surrendered.
But the question is: how do we get an independent, Senussi-led Libya in an alternate WWI that leads to a victory for the Central Powers?

You can have the Central Powers demand this is exchange for some concessions elsewhere--such as in Belgium and/or northern France.

Now, were Libya's large oil deposits known about back then?

Well,

This source claims that the libyan oil fields were only first found in the 1930's.
Though i can still see such a thing happening if the CP victory comes after Italy enters the war. As Austria-Hungary wanted no more territory from Italy as to not add more rebellious separatists to its empire, they could push for a friendly, independent Libya as punishment towards Italy.

The problem is that, based on your information here, the Central Powers (specifically Germany) might very well feel that they'll get a bad deal if they'll exchange some territory that they already control for Libya.

Germany could trade away some of its colonies (including the pacific ones) for it.
