I'm looking for possible scenarios that could result in parts of southwestern Finland - at least Aland Islands, the so-called 'Finland Proper', and possibly also some more provines in the southwest such as Satakunta - belonging to Sweden, while there is an independent Finland comprised roughly of the modern day areas of Finland (plus whatever else it can get in Karelia). Could this plausibly happen with a POD at the start of the Napoleonic Wars or later? If not, what's the latest POD with which it could conceivably happen? What conditions would have to be fulfilled for such a division to exist?
(Bonus points if the split happens in such a way that Finland Proper develops a long tradition of inter-ethnic strife, much like Northern Ireland did with its religious differences.)
