Maybe have the UK or France try to offload some of its colonies on the US in order to reduce war debt, but as far as Kuwait/Iraq is concerned, this is mostly before oil is found in that region, and the US has plenty of oil (in Texas, in Pennsylvania, in California...), so why would the US want that shit?
The US might be interested in taking Palestine off of British hands, as they OTL showed an interest in the region for prestige and maybe peace-building reasons. There's also the possibility of all of the little islands that the British and French maintained, and some of which they still maintain. The US might also want some bits of SE Asia for rubber.
And there's the Philippines, of course.
The US could also maybe push for German possessions in the Far East, but Japan really wants Qingdao, so we're left with German New Guinea (shouldn't be a problem), and a bunch of little islands that Japan also wants.
