Before you all go running for the hills, screaming, please hear me out.

We’ve heard, and said, countless times that Sealion as planned could never had succeeded.

So...

If you had the ear of Hitler, and he was predisposed to listen to what you had to say, how would you adjust the German war effort to launch a successful Sealion? Imagine you’re the one advisor/General/Admiral who sees War with Britain is unavoidable and should be planned for.

  • What would you ask to be built?
  • What wouldn’t be built in its place?
  • What changes would you make to the Strategic Planning of the War Effort?
  • What would you cancel (or in this case advise against doing) to free up resources?
We should only start from ‘33 at the earliest and still aim for a commencement of War in late ‘39.

As the title suggests, I imagine the Kreigsmarine is the area the most changes need to be made, but all three services can be considered. Less battleships can mean more torpedo bombers, that sort of thing.
