Henry V and John Bedford knew about the claims of Rene of Anjou in Aragon, he offered Languedoc and the Aragonese crown as a reward for his alegiance with Henry V and Philippe of Burgundy, while Philippe of Burgundy will gain Champagne as his reward.

Would Rene be able to make any difference worth offering him support for his own ambitions?

Not really, and I believe Philippe of Burgundy would be furious since he had designs on Lorraine. Also, England and Burgundy would totally lack the force to help the Angevins out in Aragon anyway so it would be a bit of a paper tiger deal.

I think the Valois of Provence can give Anjou to the english as dowry and to seal an alliance and give Lorraine to Burgundy to seal an alliance

Does Rene really have Anjou to dispose of, though? Rene seems to have been better at gaining titles than holding land.

Maybe with a point of departure before Henry V invades, but I'm still hesitant about imagining his support means much.

Lorraine is not England's to give, and there's a point where it stops being optimism and segues into stupidity.
