Patton's invasion of Soviet Russia

In what way could this have occurred. I know this may take ASB diplomatic failures by USA and USSR but what could have happened in order to see a early east vs west war?

Early end in the Pacific?

Could a PoD involving an early finish to Japan move enough American air power to Europe in 1944 to support Patton all the way to Berlin? Perhaps some bombing raid takes out a large percentage of the Japanese leadership and causes the survivors to surrender?

After that, though, I don't know how you kick off an early East-West war.

There are too many things that could have caused such a thing. Though most of what I can think of contain Patton invading the USSR after beating the Soviets back...

Yeah the war might be easy for in Europe for the Soviets, but what about Asia?

It depends on where Soviet troops are deployed, if they are all in Europe than Vladivostock would be a pretty easy target.

Joint American-Japanese invasion of Siberia. I tingle at the possibilities. Of course that would require a very early POD.

Had this discussion too many times already. Basically big Soviet gains early, they have 500 divisions, but the allied air power advantage and material advantage wins in the end. The Soviets run out of manpower quickly and as all their high tech material and food comes from the US, they lose big. A-bombs on Moscow and Leningrad while the rest of the non-destroyed Soviet cities get hammered. Russia is laid waste worse than at the end of OTL WW2, Germany and Eastern Europe also smashed up worse and millions more civilians die. More people that were alive OTL are now dead and Europe does not recover for decades after.

A earlier discovery of the Arrest of the Free Polish delegates, leads to the US supporting the London Free Polish government for the Polish seat in the UN.
Russia accuses the US of supporting Polish Fascists, and attacks the US troops in Berlin.
Starting WW3.
Eisenhower's Plane sinks in the Atlantic, leaving Patton to be appointed Supreme Commander Europe.
