Patton in Prague

Don't see why Patton would feel any such imperative. Though he was an excellent General, his views were at times controversial and I doubt he would feel guilty over Czechoslovakia and that he should somehow make up for it. As a matter of fact, I doubt any American officer or official felt guilty over Czechoslovakia since they had no part in Munich. Patton's more likely to wish to go to Prague for the glory of it all and to achieve some kind of upper hand in what he saw as the conflict in the near-future with the Soviets.
