Paris Peace Conference with racial equality proposal accepted

I think this requires a different US history. Had reconstruction worked properly and Black voting rights been enforced properly (perhaps with Garfield's survival) things might be different. Wilson would either have been unelectable but have different views on race.

So, WI Japan's proposed racial equality clause in the League of Nations Conference had been accepted ? How would the rights of non-white ppls have been affected in the post-WWI Period, esp the subjects of the European colonials powers & African-Americans ? Cpuld there have been, if WWII wasn't butterflied away, a much broader base of support for Japan among minorities in the US ?
Nope, the other powers would not give up the idea of White Superiority in 1919.

I'd like to ask those who know Japanese domestic history, how would the proposal being accepted affect the rise of Japanese militarists and fascists?

Probably not that much, though you may see treatment of the people in their colonies be not quite as harsh as it was at many points.

The only reason Japan wanted this was so it would be seen as totally equal to any Western power, it was more about pride than ideology for most of them.
