Panama paper Made public a year earlier.

according to some sources the hacker who leaked the Panama papers had had them for a year prior the release so if the papers had been leaked a year earlier how would that effect things in 2015 especially elections, Britain and Argentina in particular.

There'll actually be less of a 'big bang' effect. The reason why the release was delayed for a year was that the vast amount stolen data needed a lot of people to interpret it to find the stories, so that their publication could be orchestrated to maximum effect.

If the hackers go straight to publication, then it'll come out in dribs and drabs, and lack the same impact.

Other than that... probably too early to say.

Quiet early to say when whole case not be over yet and we don't know how much this will impact.

Altough it might has intresting sequences for British politics if it has released before general election.

At first glance, I'd say Macri doesn't win the Argentine elections - the runoff was a rather close thing (51-49) and having him hiding his participation in offshore companies (and worse, if he reacts in the same way than IOTL but during an election campaign) should be enough to swing 10-15 thousand votes, resulting in a Scioli's victory.

OTOH, it was also revealed that a shady businessman linked to the Fernandez administration also owns off shore societies, but that affects Scioli in a more indirect manner than refusing to declare personal participation in the directory of several offshore companies
