Pakistan has been labeled as number 13 on the failed state index of a US funded think-take by the name of Fund for Peace. The higher the country ranks the more of a "failed state that it is". I don't know much about Pakistan; only the wars that it has gotten into with India and it's terrorism problem. I've always read from newspapers quoting Indians saying that Pakistan is a failed state in the north and always believed that it was a biased perspective. And I wouldn't think that the US would be biased towards Pakistan since they are our reluctant allies right now.
So here are my questions:
-After the Partition of India how could Pakistan embark on the road to being in the same or better situation as India?
-On a separate note, what can Pakistan do now to improve itself?
